Christian Pomponio is an Italian-Canadian artist working out of Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario.

Storytelling is always at the core of my art. I grew up reading comics, watching anime and falling in love with telling stories like the ones I enjoyed. With community and humanism being important to me, my works usually center around themes of relationships, found families, technology, urbanization and nostalgia. Anything to do with the shared human experience.

 

I am also a huge music head who will never miss the oppourtunity to include some muscial references in my art as well. This is one of the key components of my newest comic series Days of Concrete which finds itself beginning in my newest art book Desensitized.

All in all, I enjoy promoting my work across Canada at conventions and feel blessed to have met so many great people along the way. I am forever grateful for the position I am in that allows me to form such genuine connections through my work and recieve so much positive support.

I am glad that what makes me happy can make so many others feel the same.
